When you create an account, we store the following to allow you to log in on different devices and restore your data if you lose your phone:

📍 3. How We Use Location Data

We respect your physical privacy.

• Real-Time Mapping: Pulsgram uses your device's location services only to draw your running/walking route on the map in real-time (e.g., to draw a line from your start point to your current position).
• No Server Storage: We do not store your historical location coordinates on our servers for tracking purposes. The location data is processed locally on your device for your visualization.
• No Background Spying: We do not track your precise location in the background when you are not exercising.
• Foreground Service: To count your steps accurately while your phone is in your pocket (even if the app is closed), we use a "Foreground Service" (visible via a notification). This is strictly for the step-counter sensor and timer functionality, not for location spying.

We use the collected data for the following purposes only:

• To provide service: To display your steps, map your runs, and grow your tree.
• To power the Leaderboard: To display your rank against other users based on steps taken and tree levels achieved.
• To sync progress: To ensure you don't lose your game data if you uninstall the app.
• To improve the app: To catch bugs and fix crashes.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, username, password, and transaction information.

• Access to database servers is strictly restricted to authorized LEDO-TECH personnel.

🗑️ 6. Account Deletion & Data Removal

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. We support multiple deletion methods to ensure accessibility:

Deletion Methods:

• In-App Deletion: Users with the Pulsgram app installed can delete their account directly from app settings (Profile → Settings → Delete Account).
• Web-Based Deletion: Users without app access can request account deletion through our standalone deletion portal using email verification.

Data Deletion Process:

• When you request account deletion, we initiate a secure deletion workflow requiring email verification via OTP (One-Time Password).
• Your account is immediately flagged for deletion and will be permanently removed within 30 days.
• During the 30-day grace period, you may cancel the deletion request before final removal.

What Gets Deleted:

• Email address and authentication credentials
• Personal profile information (Name, Avatar, Bio)
• All fitness data (Steps, Distances, Routes, Streaks)
• Game progress (Tree level, Badges, Achievements)
• Friend list and relationship data
• Leaderboard history and rankings
• Messages and chat history
• All backup data stored on our servers

This account deletion feature is provided to comply with Google Play Store requirements and GDPR/data privacy regulations. Users have the right to access, modify, and delete their personal data upon request.
